the original launcher i mean with vanilla DELETE the file: C:\Users\XXXXXXX\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\gameplay.ini Start AC again. It will crash. But it will create this file again. Then open it and put those two lines in it: [PYTHON] ENABLE_PYTHON=1
mh, this is the right icon for AI-line helper dont take attention to this: (omg, please disable some apps, if one has errors, it may drag some others into the drain too...)
- Deleted the gameplay.ini as you said in C:\Users\XXXXXXX\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\gameplay.ini - Loaded AC "vanilla" so the AssettoCorsa.exe within the content/assettocorsa - to my surprise, AC didn't crash - added the [PYTHON] ENABLE_PYTHON=1 - Still doesn't work nothing changed at all. The only thing I can think of as a change since the last 10 months is that i added SOL, if that rings a bell in behavior ? I'm litterally tearing my hair out now
ok then maybe just temporarily rename steamapps\common\assettocorsa\dwrite.dll to something else like steamapps\common\assettocorsa\dwrite.dll.bak this is the CustomShadersPatch itself and run without it...
MOTHERFK !! There it is!!! Damn what a hassle ! Ok, tomorrow morning (late here) gonna make the left and right lines. Then I just put everything back as it used to be ? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE TIPS MAN !!! This was a scale 3 migrane !
Ok, I'm back. So I was able to do the side left and side right files, hit shift to bake them to my track, verified everything was in the right place and everything was ok. I was hoping this would resolve my "cars humping themselves issue... well, appaently that wasn't solved: HOWEVER, I was able to get into the race somehow, and the cars drove pretty good, even beating my poor butt and the lines taken and the racecraft by the ai were pretty good. All cars lined up nicely in the pits: SO, maybe the start dummies is causing the issue ? Like I said before I re-verified the pivot points and axis, and they're all good (in my point of view), any tips ? Awaiting response, I'm gonna try another race see if I can do better, it was FUN
(I think I just figured out why this mess is happening: I looked at the naming of my spawns: AC_START_0, AC_START_1, then I jump to AC_START_3, so therefore AC_START_2 is missing, and this corresponds to the placement of the cars: the 2 first cars on the grid are fine, then afterwards it's mayhem. This just might be the key.
