why do my map has these wierd shadows? i mean all the other maps shadow looks a bit more realistic not like these, i feel like its too dark

looks like materials have still standard values
go to material tab (for all materials you have at the bottom)
and try values like in the pic

one more question, how can i position properly my mesh to a track? i made a servicepark to a map and i want to position it to the road but it spawn to the top of the world, how can i get the perfect coordinates?

Why is my import in blender look like this? when i export it and open it in kseditor, the darker triangles are seenthrough

Hello. I am working in my own track, the city were I´ve lived from scrach. I am sharing videos like a tutorials about how I am doing this work. Now I am in the phase of introduce the track WIP in AC and I have some doubts.

1 - I don´t know how to do the AI lines, I use the tool for record the AI path but doesn´t save anywhere
2- I don´t know how make the working interactive map, I know content manager has a tool for this but, at the moment I have the basic and free content manager. I is possible to make in another way?

I will share my tutorial videos, but are in spanish voice

Of course I mention you and any source that helps me to carry out this work

-you must have correct AC_TIME_... gates setup correctly, so it registers your laptime
-drive at least 2 laps when recording!
-disable those two (or three) options in CM:

then you can get a working map like this: remove your current "maps.png", run vanilla ac, it should generate new map, AC might crash, but just run it again...

AC_TIMES are ok because I can conut laps an times, the gosht car works, I dont know if i need some .ini doc to save the AI information.those disabled options I didn´t try.

About the map, vanilla ac is a program?

I tried these tips yesterday and it almost works. I was able to get the AI fast lane and the pit lane, but in the race the cars didn't move well. At the end I tried to record the left/right limits and with this the AI worked fine.

The png map works fine as you mentioned, it was generated automatically

The only thing that still doesn't work is the red square limits for pit stops, I don't know how to do it.


I would also need to record the theoretical fast line where the acceleration and braking information is recorded, I don't even know how to do it.

I have to order the AC_START points correctly because the start order is not correct

But at least the AI works well now, I'm very happy!
