SOLVED HELP: someone stole my stuff and is selling it online

Well, his stuff was aimed at classic tracks, as far as I have seen. So one might think that the target audience might be the "senior racer" who, unwillingly, might not know the difference between ripped/converted/scratch made track. Even more, might not be that picky given the possibility to drive on those tracks that bring back memories..

In any case, really encouraging to see that something was done, gives a feeling of juatification.

Yes, but it’s utterly aggravating when you spend months (not to say years) working on something on your « free » time, release it for free, and some moron takes you for granted, steals from you to sell it.
And this hasn’t happened to just me: ChiefWiggum’s rF2 1986 mod too was stolen for AC and is selling...

OK, so today Gilles found a little loophole to open his site once again, and once again it got taken down.
I imagine that this will happen a few more times in the future.

Does anybody here know exactly which tracks (except mine of course) he has leeched, from which sim it came from before AC, and eventually the author please ?

LilSki will have to confirm this but that New Jersey Motosport Park looks awfully similar to his track with a bunch of added cosmetics.

What Andrew Rutley aka Gilles75 wrote in his e-mail: "
Just a quick up to all my customers, if you have tried to access AC CLASSICS today, it appears to be down, rest assured it is WIX.COM that is down at present, once it's back up my website will be accessible again."

Instead of telling the truth he created a brand new site.

Time to report that one to then!

This site converts rF2 tracks too: https://acrallyhillclimbtr.wixsite.com/actrack
They say for 10 euros you get access to over 50 tracks, but oddly at the bottom of the page says: "All tracks are free. Forbidden Sale." Plus not mentioning any permissions given from the original creators, so I assume the worse.
That's a weird site... you don't even know which tracks the person is giving/selling... :confused:o_O

Real question is, where can you actually get all this content from, for AC. My bet is not alot of this content is available, directly available to put into your AC directory.

If anyone can help, after having a look at that website (im not stupid enough to pay for this shitty convert rubbish), im after,

Morgan Park (Aus)
Las Vegas Street Circuit

Need to add to my growing collection :p

BTW, i tried to report the website, but i cant because im not authorized to act on your behalf

Since I posted these other places I post here as well.

EDIT: Sorry, no posting of links to stolen/ripped content here. Let's keep this forum clean :)

Message from Andrew Rutley aka Gilles75:
"Sadly I can no longer make tracks for Assetto Corsa. My PC died on Sunday and I've replaced it with a laptop which cannot run AC. Many of my customers bought every track I released (thank you very much) but a lot of customers only bought a few tracks, so for those customers I'm offering a closing down sale where you can buy all SIXTY TWO tracks on my site for only £15.

For any customers who have bought most - but not all of my tracks - you can continue to buy individual tracks and trackpacks for the same prices as before. My website will remain open and who knows, I may even get a PC at some point in the future and make more tracks."
