This would normally go into the tracks folder, wearing a nice and shiny blue "Tool" prefix. However, the number of polys is way too high to be able to use this in a game anytime soon.. IF ever. (Challenge accepted ? :D #technologyprogress).

..but, it is just too cool not to be shared nevertheless. The end result will look something like this (which counts in hundreds of thousands vertices). I will make some tests though, and see what we can obtain cutting 3 zeros from that number. If anything decent comes out, we'll move this to it's proper place: Track making .

    INSTALL:
    - download the zip file.
    - unpack somewhere (e.g. desktop)
    - open Blender, go to Prefereces > Addon
    - install from file
    - done.

PS: don't forget to activate it, and save user preferences

This is as close as I could get for the moment. 6k tris / 3k verts.
Which might be quite ok for some close-to-track trees. Not that bad :).

Will need to find a way to make the trunk less detailed. Now it's starting as an octogon.
