Adding tarmac sections

    I would like to add areas of different tarmac into the track mesh. In both physical and visual properties. These areas can then be referenced in surfaces.ini and friction level changed.

    How easy would this be to implement and what software would be desirable to use- I.e blender, max, 3dsimed. I am familiar with 3dsimed but it appears to be limited.

    You will therefore need to split the road mesh (especially the physics layer) into different types (by naming them). So, if the road is already split, you might get away with 3dsimed. If not, then you need a full blown 3d package. Max or Blender, does not matter. Blender is free though.
