    It's been a loooong time since we had an event here. So, how about one in less than 24h ?
    The purpose is to have fun by being in control, therefore we'll limit the speed at 145 kmh. We won't make too much noise either, since we'll go electric.

    Week's combo:
    TRACK: Magione
    CAR: Formula Student UCM
    RACE Monday, 29/Jan, 20:00 GMT
    PENALITIES: ON (3 tyres out allowed)
    FUEL RATE: 1x
    TYRE WEAR RATE: 1x

    RACE FORMAT:
    Quali 5 min
    Race 15 min(ish)

    Rinse and repeat for 3-4-5-..-n times.

    SERVER : ASSETTOCORSAMODS.net CLUB
    Server will be up 1h before the start, for those wanting to warm up.

    See you on track.

    I'll probably join in for at least a short time, I've not had the pleasure(?) of driving this car online yet so it should be intersting ton see how it does.

    Have you checked to see there is enough energy to last the 15 mins, @luchian? :p

    Ha ! Good point, but "usually" an RC car lasts 15-20 min. But then maybe it will also be a matter of strategy - not only being the quickest, but the "greener" :D

    Can we recharge if doing a PitStop ?

    I know it struggles to complete a full Nords lap (9 mins), you need to be a little strategic with your power to make it to the end. Pretty sure its a reasonably accurate representation of the battery capacity (their tests are quite short and can recharge inbetween, so makes no sense to have larger batteries than needed).

    I imagine it will 'magically recharge' in the pits, so could still be an option.

    was it a good race session ? if my right ankle wasn't swollen like a tree trunk I could have accelerated too :lol: (fell down stairs with a hoover)

    The first race was quite well populated, with some quick laptimes in the quali, and a close race. After that it got quiet, but still some good battles to be had, like us overtaking Luchian in the pic above :D

    Next time we need more suited tracks, the Kunos ones are just a bit to large.

    Yeah, it was "human" error in server configuration and after each race it would disconnect everybody and restart. That made us lose people :).
    Nonetheless, it's fun to race this toyish car. And definitely, the more the merrier.
