How to edit and import tracks into Blender?

I know I've asked about something similar to this before, although I did some looking around and was wondering whats the straightforward way to import a track into blender to be edited?

I already have an extension for exporting from Blender to .Kn5. Yet not the other way around. Some sources say use 3Dsim, yet it's confusing.

The reason being, is that I want to edit street lights to separate the bulb/lens from the pole so I can easily light them up under material adjustments as opposed to individual lights for each. Wish it was as easy as editing cars.

ContentManager can unpack kn5's:
In Windows-Explorer hold shift, then double click KN5, keep holding shift, until CM pops into foreground
depending on size of KN5, it takes a while
but in the end CM will open a new Explorer-Window with the unpacked files (...fbx file)

Note 0: if CM opens the KN5 in its showroom, then you didnt hold shift or this is not enabled:
9081

Note 1: scale by 0.01 when exporting again from Blender

Note 2: I also did a standalone kn52fbx (based on CM code): https://github.com/leBluem/ac_tools_cmd

Note 3: please mind the ownership of the original KN5. Experimenting/tinkering on your own PC is your responsibility. However (if the case) modifying and sharing someone else's work without his/her approval is generally frown upon. :nerd:

Oh wow, that was cool. For a second I thought I was being pranked . CM is full of surprises. Thankyou. As a pixel artist, our works were always stolen and profited, even though we had a credit system in the art itself. Although, "if", I were to release any edited kn5's/assets, I'll consult the creator and give proper credit. All this is just practice towards building my own roads, so it'll stay on my PC.

Here's some examples of what I used to do. Probably making someone money in a pixel racer somewhere now a days.

Got my edits done on one track and exported it from blender as the guide says, yet kseditor crashes when I try to import it to save as a kn5. Anyone had that before? Only edits I did was delete a barrier and renamed two bridge surfaces with 1Road at the beginning to make em drivable.
