I've whipped up a track in blender using this 3D track model kit (https://creazilla.com/nodes/5121-racing-kit-3d-model) and I've made some good progress on it, theoretically I think it should work once I put some textures on it. However, the pieces come already-coloured and I'm pretty awful at textures and UV mapping in the first place. Could someone help me/point me in the right direction of what I need to do to get the track pieces all in one (like get rid of the 1ROAD_SUB430) and put textures on it? Everything including the track pieces (I used DAE format) is included in the folder below. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CIwsNpcNdHaALCn53E6CWa4YKR8hUbX_/view?usp=sharing Pictures of the problems: What the track currently looks like:
Yep, ac only wants one material per object, thats what ksEditor does, if you have multiple materials assigned to one object, it will be split up into as many objects as there are materials. In Blender its the same as hiting p in edit mode with all faces/verts selected: Split -> "by material"
