I'm having an issue where my custom track...when you are sitting in the pits, the Wrong Way sign is showing the entire time. If you drive, you get a penalty and get kicked back.

I've created the AI for the pit line, all my boxes are facing the correct way. During AI races, all of the cars pit correctly. Why is it giving me this issue and how can I fix it? Thanks all.

Ok not really meant that, but, you did just drive that part from into pits, outof pits, noting more?

Also you have IS_PITLANE=1 set for your pitlane mesh in surface.ini, and also IS_VALIDTRACK=1?

Yes, that's all correct in surfaces.ini.

EDIT: NM I see the track layout in your other post.

Show a screenshot with your AI lines visible.

Oh that's not what I thought it was. My original thoughts are correct assuming rotation is clockwise. Your pit lane is too close to the track going the opposite direction. Or I should say it is closer to the back straight than the front straight.

I had no idea that could be an issue. How would I fix that? I mean, this is an actual track from Hawaii that no longer exists. It's actually counter-clockwise track.

    deliver track with optional "content\texture\wrongway.png"
image, which you make completely transparent, and turn of penalties altogether

For single player you have to disable penalties and use the blank wrong way png. For online use you would need to make a "second layout" with an AI line that when on the back straight goes away from the track and away from the pit lane to avoid the wrong way penalty. This is how a version of Zolder had to be released due to its pit exit having the same issue.

Thanks all for the advice and help! I will work on this. Appreciate it as I was completely lost as to why this was happening. Have a great week.
