I've been meaning to post this for some time now, but there's always "something to do"
. Anyhoo... if you are using Photoshop, I'm sure you are familiar with the mood swings of the nVidia dds plugin and the pita it can be sometimes. Worry no more. You can use this Intel plugin which works flawlessly and has even more options for the quality of the compression. And it's open source.

It can be used for export and import of dds files.
After installation, it will appear in the save as file options:
Interface is very simple but does the job. This is an example for DXT1, no alpha.
