I've been trying to figure out how do car controllers work, specifically central difflock controllers. I have seen cars which have ctrl_awd_center_lock.ini and use AWD as their drivetrain, but I have also seen cars with ctrl_awd2.ini which use AWD instead of AWD2? Does the filename not matter?. My main question is trying to figure out how does AC know where it's outputing the controller's value. There is an input, which is passed through by the .lut to output a value, but how does it know that value is, for example, for the center diff lock and not maybe the rear diff lock?
What i'm trying to make is an almost entirely FWD car that sends power to the rear diff if it detects slip or a high throtle value,I guess by using AWD2.
