Exporting particle system generated objects

Looking for advice on how i would deal with the objects being generated by the particle system. I have 7 different tyoes of foliage for the roadside and i have have weight painted all the meshes at the side of the road to give a nice amount of coverage

I am looking to now how i would export the generated foliage from the scene in Blender and also, how would i organise the generated objects to form groups that fall under the vertice limit for KSeditor
