Unable to open data files with notepad?

I'm just getting started in this and right of the bat things are going well. 1st' I tried uninstall reinstall notepad app same, then I tried note++ same, microsoft support useless. So here I'm dead in water bummed out because I was excited to get started in this new skill. All help is appreciated.

 

Thats because data.acd is a package of files, can't simply open it in notepad. You need to extract it, either with Content Manager or other tools that can do this.

 

So I have to unpack through CM first then ill be able to edit them?

 

Yup, once you unpack, you’ll get a data folder with all the files in it. Then you can delete the acd file, the game will work fine with just the data folder
