Assetto Corsa Mods
There are already tutorials on car modding for Assetto Corsa out there. However, I feel they don't treat the subject as a whole. Example - the car_pipeline directly coming with Assetto Corsa. It's long and complex, and has a lot of useful information. But it concentrates too much on the graphical side and not enough on the rest. And that makes it not so straight forward to succeed with your first car. I personally like to start simple and once that is clear, continue to build on it....
..and the winner is.. but before that, let's make a small summary of this thing: So, this year, Ferrari is celebrating its 70th Anniversary. Being on a good mood, or better yet Marco being a smooth talker , Kunos has the chance to develop and release a DLC on this special occasion. Dedicated to the horsy loving brand. This DLC will include 7 cars. Out of these, 6 were already decided by Kunos before hand. For the 7th, we (you) got to vote. After around 30000 votes (so really, a significant chunk of the player base) the results are.. unexpected .
Being an Italian studio, Italians do have some advantage over the rest of the world following Assetto Corsa. One example is this interview in Italian, by Eduardo Ullo for ILVIDEOGIOCO. However, this is 2017 and thanks to online tools like Google Translate, we can get a pretty good idea about what has been discussed, even if some translations artifacts might be in there. The ones I could spot, were corrected. The ones that you spot, please let us know in comments below .
