QUESTION Problem shadow & Blue haze on distant background

Hi everyone,

I'd like to know how to make a distant background more visible. The track I'm making has a scenic view, so whole track is circled by a 360° panorama of the distant background. However, in assetto corsa the backgound "panel" casts shadows on itself and appears darker on the side not facing the sun. Also, because it is rather far, there starts to be a blue haze, fog effects that makes it even harder to see on this side. I made the object transparent and not casting shadows in AC Editor, but still no change. Any way to get around this ? You can see what I'm talking about in the pictures attached

if you are using CustomShadersPatch with a ext_config.ini
put this in there:
Code:
[INCLUDE]
INCLUDE = common/materials_track.ini

[Material_DistantGeometry]
;;; replace with your material names
Materials = moutains, more_mat?
;;; you could also use mesh names
; Meshes = skyring01

Thanks, I tried this with both the material's name or the mesh but it looks exactly the same.
The description on the Wiki "Simply use [Material_DistantGeometry] from “materials_track.ini” to make a mesh visible no matter how far it is" makes me think it would help if the mesh was disappearing due to distance. Mine is visible, but is casting shadows on itself. Anything else I could try ?

the blue haze at the distance is dependend on weather
in clear weather you should have quite a far distance until some haze is seen, Pure might do more...
