Could someone tell me what causes a yellow banner to appear on the track. It obscures your view and I cannot seem to get rid of it

you probably have osrw pit-extension for kunos tracks installed?

this is usally a problem with "\ui\[layoutname]\ui_track.json"
having too much pit-boxes noted than there are actually existing pits-boxes in some kn5-file

but maybe its some other thing, you have these files? :
...assettocorsa\content\objects3D\pitcrew_Left.kn5
and
...assettocorsa\content\objects3D\pitcrew.kn5

My pit boxes are correct on the tracks I'm having issues with. Do you mean the assettocorsa\content\object3d
