Hello, hope this is in the right section, I'm wondering if it is possible to make a picture partially transparent in front of my 3dsmax scene, I'm making a dash display based on an AIM one but getting the geometry all the right size and placed perfect is tricky having to keep switching to the picture of it, if I could trace the lines that would be great.

Usually what you would do is the inverse of that. Place the picture on a plane behind your 3d mesh. Then you would make your mesh semi-transparent. IIRC it was ALT+X in 3dsmax ? (ggl someting like x-ray for 3dsmax; again, iirc).
