Loading screen images?

When I load a track (my track) the game seems to pull images from my "screens" folder, that it displays while it's loading. Is there a way to include some of these, so others would also see the images as the track loads on their system? (I mean automatically, after they install the track, w/o them having to manually put the image in their screens folder) Thanks, Mick

no, thats not a feature of the game or ContentManager or CSP, actually that would be way more difficult to do than you might think

I figured it must not be available since I couldn't find any info on it via search. Maybe if CM could determine their "Users/(username)/documents/assetto corsa/screens <folder>?, you could just add the folder/files into the games install files? Possibly using a wildcard or something? Anyway, thanks for the info!

wait, you want that just for your PC, i 1st understood it like you want to share your pics online ...

actually there are a lot of options for "New Loading screen", iirc there is also a path you can add...

No, I wanted to include some of my screen shots of the track, to be included (shown when loading) for others who download/install the track.

You can put your images into "...content\tracks\track_folder\ui\layoutX\" folder
That place is also searched by "New Loading Screen". call them
bgr_#.jpg

And actually yes, on CSP GitHub is a place.If you give me your GitHub-user name (you need to make an account) i can invite you there...

But you keep your expectations in check, no more than 5 images, and no more than 2k resolution!

I have an GitHub account. My username is mickstix I located the "background" section, from you link above, but didn't see a way to upload screens. Thanks for the help! Mick

* I tried removing the images from my screens folder and put them in the tracks "UI" folder, (tried original name and brg_#) but it doesn't use them? Unless there's a setting in CM Im missing or something?

not brg_*, but bgr_*
no?

make a new folder,
lower case (like your track should be too!), no more than 32 chars
there you can put your images

bgr_1.jpg or brg_1.jpg still doesn't show while track is loading, when I put them in my track/ui folder..
I went to the github, accepted the invite, followed the link above, but I don't see where I can add/make a "folder". I see add a "file" but that didn't create a "folder".

i used "upload files"

then on the next dialog - drag_n_dropp a folder (with your file) into the browser

Thanks! I was able to create the folder and files! Now... How does it work? I loaded the track, nothing (see image below). I added the 3 files that I put on github to my gainesville_raceway/ui <folder> and I still only see this image (below) while the track is loading? Only way I get to see the images while it's loading, is if they're in my "screens" folder.. Thanks, Mick

the update with CM might not be current, thats updated manually every once in a while
