im Robert, from Germany, simracer for 20 years. i create tracks with rtb, sketchup and gimp. lazy guy, i hear you say. youre right!or lets say my study progress was to slow and i lost my patience with blender. So let me say hallo and watch out for my first "as stupid as even google cant give me an answer" question. btw,i got almost 15 years of experience with soundediting.not at professional level.but if help is needed, maybe i can. cheers robert
hi there Robert B, don't you worry about the RTB issue. I'm a lazy guy too. but I can use 3dsmax. I often choose not to. because I know polygon layouts, and RTB makes the same polygon layouts when you want it too. we have an rtb thread here. http://assettocorsamods.net/threads/rtb-race-track-builder.218/
Hey @Robert B , welcome to the forums In my book - there is no lazy/non-lazy method. On the contrary, in simracing nobody appreciates spending 5 years creating the ultimate track only by old traditional methods. However, EVERYBODY can appreciate quality. And this is given by the attention to detail, imo. Whatever tools (legal ) you use to get there, is less important. Anyhoooo.. enjoy the stay and ask away
