    1. Finally getting around to making / using 3D trees. When I load trees in, that I have exported as .bin via the CM using, the tree planter app, they always spawn on their side. every other tree.bin file I have used works as expected. I have experimented with differen 'Z is up' etc options from Blender and they're always sideways. The origin of the object is the bottom, and Centre of the tree trunk.

    3. opening the exported FBX file in any other viewer leads to an upright model....

In AC and most other videogames, Y is up. Show your object with the axis gizmo in object mode, your export settings and modifiers, if any.
I havent used 3d trees so if its not an export issue then no idea.

Always thought it should be Z forward and not "-Z"
