So I tried it and it works really nicely. Thank you
I will still space out the starting slots, to help with bigger cars. That should not cause any problems?
So i actually drove the ai-line myself, but maybe the CSP cache generated thing changed something.
I might retry to drive the AI with it off, and then in case adjust/create the borders.
Also, I now changed the naming of kn5 and the pit-slots origin.
thanks for the info
Note: I won't have...
Hey guys,
I'm having some problems with the AI.
Basically at the start most of the grid is just standing there, not starting and retiring.
I now don't know where the problem is exactly.
I'd assume it's either the starting points being too close or something with the AI-line/starting line.
The...
I'm currently working on this local go-kart track
if you want to try it here's the download:

So I assume you made the Road by shrinkwraping a curve to the terrain and the let the road follow the curve.
One way would be this: Where you create a second terrain that also follows the curve and on the edge shrinkwraps to the main terrain.
You can download the props and textures in the description
Edit: Also here on RaceDepartment there are some free props: https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/track-props.37866/
So if you are the one creating the track you just need to create start and finish like @fughettaboutit explains here: https://assettocorsamods.net/threads/build-your-first-track-basic-guide.12/page-91#post-21493
If you're editing a track you'll need to add the additional start- and...
It could just need some more time to load the fbx.
Also make sure none of the objects has more then 64.000 vertices, if that should be the problem ks-editor will display an error (after loading) where it tells you the objects with to many vertices.
Exactly im rebuilding the SafetyPark south of Bozen.
What Johnr777 said is pretty much my plan. I'll use the DEM just as a reference to get the basic elevation to build my own roads and terrain on top and the GIS/OSM for the mountains around.
Also I believe the ortho is already a corrected...
Hey there I just started a project of a test-center and kart-track in South-Tirol and didn't know about the free 10cm ortho, so thanks already.
Just wanted to ask if its smart to use the DEM as a reference to make the track and then use Blender-GIS/OSM for the landscape?
As Rob Pawn said, maybe you're missing the crew.ini file in data. Try putting this in the data folder. And be sure the empties ar rotated correctly with y-up and z-forward.
Just to clear things up ac_pit_x is the pit spawn point or pit position, ac_crew_x is a visible object that is only visible when the car x is there. So for example when you are alone on track, only your pitwall is there.
Now you wanted to make the pit-crew, which should be automatic if you set...
In the end I just made a new mesh and changed the the name. I still don't know what the problem was but it is fixed.
@Johnr777 thanks for trying to help.
