well, first sorry for my bad english, i need help with my track, there is a part of the red line that tell the ai where is the circuit thats missing, i allready tried ai line helper, changing grass to dont be part of the track and i did again the ai spline too, but nothing worked. i hope you guys can help me, as you can see by the skidmarks they all crash there
(your pic didnt upload) In some banked corners, the ai borders can be hidden, they are still there, under the road For AI to also drive slow/tight corners well, use data\ai_hints.ini
Im new at this, this is my first track and I dont understand much about it, can you fix it? I already tried ai hints and it didnt work for me... i let you the files here. (the error its in the main straight just before the start/finish line) https://www.mediafire.com/file/vsgbs2kaneiu77v/autodromo_dos_caminos_2023.rar/file
you somehow made a mistake when recording the fastlane.ai ... you should finish the lap, in fact you should drive at least 2 laps, or "fast_lane.ai" might get screwed ... and "pit_lane.ai" should be smaller than "fast_lane.ai" https://assettocorsamods.net/threads/red-line-track.1806/#post-13007
so the process is, in ksEditor 1. load your track/road 2.load "fast_lane.ai" (Optional: do a resample with 12 ) Save it with ksEditor Check in AC, works! then used the Blender addon to import fast_lane.ai edited borders, export them to data\side_l.csv data\side_r.csv then start AC and new borders get imported also record new pitlane working fine now (google drive link, only ai-lines and borders, unpack to track folder)
In the other variant is even worse. Can u Tell me how to use the blender tool, the tutorials are not very clear (or I dont understand them) and the ai line helper is not useful for me, my pc just crashes when i try to save the .csv file
just import AI line: then in edit mode - you can move vertices around, to where you want them, the build-in addon "LoopTools" is quite usefull for that , when enabled, select some verts in edit mode, hit "W" -> Looptools -> i.e. Relax (options: 2 modes/amount) ) also using proportional editing helps a lot when done, just export sides to "data\side_l.csv" and "data\side_r.csv" , one by one: (export in object mode!) edit: only edit/select small parts at one time, dont try to smooth the whole thing at once
That worked well, but how do you get that near to the ai line? i cant, the zoom stops far away from it
Hello everyone. Is it possible to export from the file groveline.csv or from fast_lane.ai to .kn5 and add a groove to the track? Thank you.
Yes, thank you! I did not immediately see the necessary information. I'm just getting to know Blender, and I didn't understand everything right away. But now, little by little, I understand.
