Hello. I am building a track, followed tutorials here and everything went super smooth. once I reached the point of creating physical objects, some wired issues started to happen. the physical object appear massive, sometimes compressed and small, sometimes just fat. I kept all of the assets same size, but I scaled the physical asset 99times, in 3Ds max they appear super small regarding to other parts, in kseditor too. But in the game, they are almost normal size, and behave normally, but don't look as they should, sometimes they are fatter than they should. in few words, there are some scaling issues regarding to the physical objects only, if I name them something else, the scale is OK. This is just test video with everything low poly, no worries about road collisions if someone figured that out, please help. Thank you.
i had same issue on one track, couldn't solve other than to export at 100 larger than it seemed in blender, it was a very complicated collider, maybe thats the problem, never had it with like cones and 5-verts bounding cage
so no solution actually but increasing ( in my case decreasing size 100 times ) ? something should be made
reset scale? i work with blender. i export in original game size. so no downscaling while export. my scale on pobject looks like this: For example If i have a Barrel with Scale 1,1,1 (but actual object size for use) i would need to upscale it to 100,100,100 (that u get an exorbitant huge object on the track) ---> then apply scale that u get the 1,1,1 again, and then scale it down again to 0.01, 0.01, 0.01 and leave it like that. no scale apply again (what in your case maybe the RESET SCALE is?!
I did do all the reset scale, x-form, ect.... the size is fine everywhere but in game, so i'll try to do it this way, scale the thing down, rest xform, then scale it back up to the normal size without resting xform, hopefully it'll work out well
Hello, have you found a solution to this? I'm having the same problem. All x-form scale applied, or scale reset etc everything in 3ds Max, but to no avail. If the objects aren't named "AC_POBJECT_" their scale is fine. In KSEditor they also look alright, but in-game it looks 100x bigger.
