Round 04: Sunday 26 October 2014 Track: Silverstone National Practice: 17:30 UTC - 30 minutes Qualify: 18:00 UTC - 15 minutes Race : 18:15 UTC - 45 minutes Car: Fiat 500 Abarth Place to discussions .
Well well well... @Simulatu , wanna' team up ? . Somebody needs to keep those two under control.. Otherwise, congratulations on your marriage guys .
winter time....yes, but i thought the scheduled time is in UTC! First race i want to attend and there's nobody here at 19:30 EET (2 hours in front of UTC)
eh, it happens . I believe the server instance we'll race on is already up and running, as i see the practice session was extended to 1hr to cover the "early" commers as well as the late ones...also the race is 39 laps now, which should be around 45min
guys, in quali and practice whenever u saw me go wide in first corner it was my mistake..agree that it gained me time but i was just pushing, not on purpose. Probably we should have agreed from the begining to go wide there, as noobs in AC, like me, will not run a constant racing line for consecutive laps. All in all it was a cool race, although i lost 1 lap in the pits (had no idea how to change tires and refuel other than hit Escape then "Return to pits" ))))...next time i will check youtube videos and document myself. Cheers!
Cata, I'm eager to race alongside you again! You certainly showed us how fast you can be. Now that you know how to pit and all, I think we'll have some close races. P.S.: We chated in-game right before the race that we'll accept going wide in the first turn, didn't know if you'll do it or not. Sorry for the misunderstanding! Next round we shall clarify this sort of things in practice.
Hey guys, hope the race/server went smooth. I was on the road, I've asked a friend to take care of the server. I regert missing this round, as it was a small circuit so lots of opportunities for close racing . So, what was the pace/lap ? Who won ? PS: standings will not go public before end of the week.. so if you'd like to know, you can do it manually
Pace was at 1:11.8 at the front, @TCLF was the quickest again but changed the tires as well in the pits so his stop took longer than mine. This led once again to a battle between me and him, where he was behind but faster... I won this time. Cata and Zoinx were pretty evenly matched, their lap times were somewhere between 1:12.0 and 1:12.4, but Cata messed up the pitstop and lost a significant amount of time. Final standings: 1. @ihlades , 2. @TCLF, 3. @Zoinx, 4. @cata82. Qualifying session results were: 1. @TCLF, 2. @cata82, 3. @ihlades, 4. @Zoinx. P.S.: What about tomorrow night? Up for a beer?
Seemed like a nice race.. Be sure I won't leave you 2 like this in the near future... thing will change, race wise ! PS: I'll let you know, once I'll clarify my time schedule, 10x for the invite .
