    As in any section, I'll try keeping up a collection of basic info, enough to get you started, I'd hope :). So, especially for those of you making the first steps in car skinning, here it is.

    The car templates are located in your AC's installation folder, typically under something like \STEAM\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\sdk\dev\skin_templates

    Every car's template folder will contain 3 files:
    • 2 dds files (like Rim_Blurred_D.dds, Rim_D.dds) that will usually control the color of your wheels - we can worry about these later;
    • and the one we are looking for, a *.PSD file, called skin_base.psd or livery.psd or carpaint.psd or something of the kind.
    To open the PSD files, the 2 most known solutions are Photoshop (paid) and Gimp (free). If you are not already familiar with any of these, there are literally tens of thousands of tutorials online. Once you get the hang of basic operations, only your imagination will be the limit to what you can craft.

    Is there any good tutorial outhere ?

    Yes: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1272335985

    Hope to see your creations here soon ;)
