Having some issues with AI in the pits and using the spline in ksEditor to make track cameras.

As seen in the picture below, The AI are trying to get to the track but not following the pit lane:

The pit lane seems to be properly defined, as my pit options appear when I enter the pit lane and my box is there.

Additionally, in ksEditor, when I right-click on the circled part of the spline, it places the marker where it's shown in the picture, on the other side of the track. I can't find a pattern, but the marker never appears where I click. After setting up a few cameras by manually entering in/out points, I noticed that no camera.ini files were generated and, as a result, none of the cameras worked in replay.

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

If it matters, there are also break points in the AI spline throughout the track:

(the gaps in ai line in ksEditor: thats normal, they are fine)

I followed fug's suggestions above and also adjusted my pit line so that it passes through where the pit objects are. The AI's now drive straight out, clipping through the other cars in the lane along the way. So, at least they now make it outta the pits :D

Track camera's were a breeze with the suggested apps.

    Thanks!

maybe dont do this at all with ksEditor, either record new ai line or adjust existing with

    ok. :D overlapped :D
i edited that post already :D but thx so much!
I go now with your cam info tool but get stuck at cam 22. i can add more, but i can not switch to 23. it kicks me instantly back to 22.

The blender addon i downloaded 2 days ago and wanna try as soon as possible. its just bit confusing.
I always have best experience with "learning by doin"... So tomorrow hopefully i start the blender addon and figure out the 2 way traffic stuff. but for today just replay cams :D

"at cam 22. i can add more, but i can not switch to 23. it kicks me instantly back to 22."

adding cams at the end was not tested much, just check out-point to be at 1.0 for last cam
and in/outpoint to be correct for 2nd-last and last

i started with a cameras.ini which had 30 cam positions. At 22 it got stuck. at first i thought its because of the next cam position (23) is at the same coordinates - cause both should be fixed. then i deleted all after 22 and tried adding. but same result. it get stuck for unknown reasons yet

:EDIT: i randomly added manually with notepad some more cams. but CamInfo get stuck at 22.
maybe i need to restart my computer to clean the cache...
:EDIT: yo, i deleted now cam 15 and tool get stuck at cam 21... :D time to restart computer! :D

OK, for me best way is to set cam positions in KSeditor or manually in notepad. Then adding the outpoint with the CamInfo Tool. And keep following the order. Do not overjump a cameracount - in my case it just filled random values for In-/Outpoint and this is the conflict which causes the issue that you can not switch to the next cam. Then it is important to restart CM and fill manually the in/outpoints in the cameras.ini. Another thing is, if ya come to close to an existing cam position, the tool select this cam automatically. If ya don't pay attention, then again the order is fucked up and you have to start manually repairing the ini. (for fixed cams 2way positioning on same coordinates its a problem)

i do not wanna open a new thread for this:

is there a way to set car cameras into my track camera.ini?
(like on dirt rally replays the cam is switching from track cams to in-car and back "randomly")
