    :) Lebluem gave me an immediate answer - which was very kind, and I had not expected that.
    This time the answer didn´t help but I found a posting a few minutes later.
    I postet my finding as I thought LeBluem might be interested how it went.

    But that´s one of the reasons I really like this forum - I found solutions for all of my track making problems here.
    Either by finding a posting or by someone answering.
    Aren´t forums all about that? :)

    Btw: The scale of the track was perfectly fine, the scaling just was not "applied".

    APPLY SCALE AND ROTATION

    here another example how a mesh can cause issues...
    weird shadows and it even will kill GrassFX...

    In Picture (1) its cause by the curb!

    shadows are like that, you can only avoid that in vanilla ac with highest shadow settings, and even then not quite, using CSP you can put this in ext_config.ini:
    [SHADER_REPLACEMENT_...]
    MATERIALS=somematerialfilter?
    ;;; MESHES=somemeshfilter? ; or like this
    DOUBLE_FACE_SHADOW_BIASED=1

    are you using shader "ksGrass" for the flat grass-plane? Dont! Its meant for "3d" grass blades, not for flat/driveable surfaces

    I use GrassFX for all my grass like on the cover picture on my profil.
    (1GRAS - Surface) normal shader + extension config - but thanks for the hint anyway!

    you dont get me, if you are using this shader in ksEditor for that material, CSP wont let you make Grass_fx on it

    ah, gotcha now! but in that case it was definitely caused by the missing scale or rotation of the curb.
    before i added the curb, the GrassFX was workin. As i added the curb with missing scale/rotation, that shadow appeared and killed the Grass only in that shadowed area (btw. the Gras Surface which is to see in that picture is ONE mesh). i dont use ksGrass shader in any case. (maybe not even for TreeWalls)
