So, i've been trying to create a touge near my hometown and everything was going relatively well until i decided to put some trees. I created a Y shaped one in blender and the texture was looking good but i went trough kseditor strange things started to happen. I heard that ac does not support single sided textures or something but it's supposed to be double-sided. Any help?
Try copying my settings and see If it works, otherwise make sure you exported the dds file with alpha (dds5)
You need to use the KsTree shader with origins at the base of each tree when importing into KsEditor. There is a thorough guide to what to do on the forum here: http://assettocorsamods.net/threads/setting-up-trees.162/
Yes, definitely follow this! I used this guide to make my trees. They came out really nice and realistic looking.
