So on my new Croft track I have the pit lane, road and a pit wall defined. I've got working AI splines (which I've recreated 3 times just to be sure) In practice and quali the AI behaves as it should, however in a race at the start, some AI cars want to use the pit lane and crash into. the wall You can see both my AI splines in the screenshots below along with the wall object marked in red. All asphalt the right is set to be 01ROAD, and everthing to the left is either 01PITS (which I have defined and is working ok) or 01NOTVALID (which is defined in my surfaces.ini as not valid road) fast-lane.ai pit lane.ai Also screenshot to show lines in game using the AI app also I have a video that shows the behaviour in full Any ideas on what could be wrong? thanks
i had a weird issue when i was working with the AI where they would pull out of the pit stall straight left into the pitwall on that side. I deleted ( maybe just move yours if you have them) the payload ai files and it worked normally again.
You should also define the left and right AI line borders. (1) AI Line Helper | RaceDepartment Here is a tutorial video:
Beware, CustomShadersPatch kind of ignores your borders, that you may have made, if this is enabled: CSP will make up new borders based on IS_VALIDTRACK=1 from "surfaces.ini" with that thing enabled!
chrisallen76 do you have a development thread I can follow on here or somewhere? Croft is local to me and I have many race pictures. If you needed, the next time I am there I could get some more detailed pictures?
