Hi.I created my map, i want to assign the grass fx to the material named grass1. I also added the lines HEIGHT_MULT = 0.3 COLOR_FACTOR = 1.06 And it is not working at all. Please help.
1- Don't EVER use *.png files as textures for your tracks. 2- re-read the first rule 3- let us know if that worked and solved your issue
Thank you a lot, now it's working ! I am still figuring out why i don't have shadows from the trees. Shadows from the trees on the ground appear in KsEditor but not in the game. Could be the same reason that i am using png textures?
First, the correct place for the cfg is... "content\tracks\yourtrack\extension\ext_config.ini" edit: oh i see its already in the right place other than that ... png should not matter less important (meaning it should still work without this) is the "TEXTURE=" you mentioned, not neccessary for your case, it only matters if you also use another method to spawn grass with those: [GRASS_FX_TEXTURE_GROUP_0] [GRASS_FX_CONFIGURATION_A] [GRASS_FX_ADJUSTMENT_...] The official doc mentions multilayer shaders: (also look at examples mentioned above that) https://github.com/ac-custom-shaders-patch/acc-extension-config/wiki/Tracks-–-Grass-FX#multilayer-local-adjustments-new
