Track was build in Blender 2.82
I create the Tree group by particle system and make sure each one is separate objects(apply modifier)
and objects was name as KSTREE_GROUP_"any"."numbers" separate group.
the texture was fine on the Trees but not the Bushs, some part of the Bush just take the materal from tree
and it cannot altered in Kseditor
both Tree and bush are named by KSTREE_GROUP_"any"."numbers" and given separate material
no double materail on any of them

1.the Textures all fine in blender

2.in Kseditor, some bush material went wrong

3.in closer view, the wrong textured bush take the same texture as trees, with no reason

    hi!
I have done the same, with 2.79 ... and it worked correctly.
    Maybe the nomenclature is wrong?

It is the 1st difference that is seen at first sight.
If you look at LilSKi's tutorial the name is "KSTREE_GROUP_x_ naming" and yours is "KSTREE_GROUP_"any"."numbers"

Low bar is used instead of point, will this be the problem? It would be necessary to prove !! : D
    Anyway...
If you want you can send the project and we will take a look at it!

is there maybe the tree material still attacked to the bush objects? Can happen if you for example copied the trees and worked them into bush shape from there, and then changed the material.
Check of the bush objects have two materials attached

He found me on Facebook. It was Multi-user Objects in blender.

Yes, that issue is due to "duplicate objects" and then do not make them "single user". Its necessary
