Hi guys, Looking for some advice on a mod track I downloaded that won't allow me to execute a pit stop (there's no pit speed limit and no red box to stop at). Have checked the surfaces.ini file and there's no surface defined for the pits with the IS_PITLANE=1 Is there an easy way for me to add this capability to the track? It's my favorite to race on and the no pit stop kind of ruins it, especially when you always run out of fuel. I'll add that I have no experience with building tracks. Cheers
Which track is it? Its not easy i guess. The pitlane must have a distinct name and a number in front, if its already declared as 1ROAD_something1 you must rename it in the kn5-file (ie with 3dSimEditor, or you kn5-unpack and change the name in 3d-Software) to 1PIT_something1 to make it work
It's Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the Oval Config (All the other Indy track layouts also lack the Pit in the surfaces.ini). Sounds like I'll have to try my hand at some reverse engineering. Thanks for the help, appreciate it.
