Really impressive work. Can't see how you find things to improve on ! Video looks great!

I'm now curious how many sim track builders can say, "I think I'll get a professional race car driver to check out my track."

Is there a download link for that AMG-GT3 skin? ERC were my favourite team in British GT last year, went to Donny on my birthday for the championship final and got to meet Yelmer and the whole team!

Most likely the last time I'll be manually scattering grass, so a little extra effort! :D

This time I tried a different technique, something a community member, R@m , came up with a couple of years ago, scattering different objects based on a texture's color ID:

Doing them this way also allowed me to have different Z rotations on the vertical grass planes, they are more vertical close to the track, to not hide the Dale's awesome texture underneath, and a more aggressive bend on those same planes further out, for a more dense look.

    Looks good !

Too bad you're not a Blender user, I am still struggling with the grass for Motorpark. The experiments I did (albeit only a few hours worth of work) behaved very strange.:ninja:

LE: man, the second screen shows how much work this track got !

    Absolutely godsmacking !
However, I'm glad there's no grass on any of the tracks on my to-do list

Since this track sits a little higher, city lights are a must

Really nice. How did you do the city lights out of interest? Emissive surfaces?

Correct, little low poly boxes that will become emissive when the sun goes down. Then playing around with the distant glow parameters in the tracks ini file, you can achieve a pretty neat light polution look :)
