I read a post here about animated boards and saw that it would be hard to accomplish. I thought about it and thought what if someone did figure it out and I did find a post at Racedepartment that someone actually made a shader to make animated boards possible. At first I couldn't figure out what I was doing so I contacted someone who had done this already on several tracks and thanks to his help I have now animated boards at Silverstone. For this you actually need the stFlow shader which can be found at Racedepartment, anyways I uploaded a small video so you can see it for yourself.
Thanks again for the stFlow shader hint! I could manage to do a film for my videowalls. Diffuse texture is like a film strip with 32 single frames above each other and these material shader settings: Code: offsetDSpeed 0 0.4 pauseTiming 0.076125 -1
woahh ! that's it im making a Japanese neon city track ! I got some great pixel art animation tools for this sort of stuff ... gona be good for real road and motorway stuff too.... timed traffic lights haha ?
I love what you can do with stFlow shader! Stereo gave me that tip how do do it. https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/goodwood-festival-of-speed-2017.168630/page-4#post-2974003
Hopefully someone can help me but I have a problem. Yesterday the animated boards stopped working. I tried a new update of the shader patch 0.1.25 preview 127 but it had some weird effects on the cars so I revered back to preview 49. I reinstalled the stflow shader and content manager but it still doesn't work. Any help is appreciated.
