Almost done with the kerbs. Actually it's not the modelling, but the texturing that takes time because almost every one of them is different
After the first batch of tests, main feedback was that kerbs are too narrow. Therefore, they have been widened a bit. Until we can measure the real ones, these will do.
I did, but not enough . And not too good. Looking at those that I took for kerbs.. it's like I was high
The stuff that can be used for tracks in general, like the wall, kerbs, and tire stacks. If you don’t mind, I can make textures out of them and will return the favour and make a pack for us to use.
Aaahh, no I don't mind at all. I will search through and select those that might be useful. Will share them gladly . For the kerbs though.. don't get your hopes up .
nice lens. id love to try these "L" lens. I recently got 55-200 lens and a 50mm f1.8 prime which is just amazing.. less wide the better for capturing stuff to use for content. got any top down views of the surface?
im working my way there. really getting into the photography thing.... my bro` has the mavic pro, just waiting for weather. this mavic pro the statistics are insane for it, people go through about 3-4 per year, sometimes you turn them on, and away it flies, never to come back.
..well technically there was an offer. But unfortunately it did not "fly" in the end . That would be perfection though, in terms of texturing and layout. cc @Gabriel44 @ArcusProduction
I think the track job itself needs an industrial drone with a tuned lens for the job we would need. I have the galaxy s10 btw. send it to the sky ! insane camera quality and options. will do long exposure and super fast f stop
@ Blender crowd: I need to add some 3d grass on the track asap to help with orientation. Are you guys using THIS method to do it, or is there a better/smarter way ? (just a few pointers are enough, I'll fill in the details). cc @LilSKi @Fat-Alfie @Johnr777
I couldn’t tell you how to even open a file in blender , 3dsmax here. For us it’s as simple as creating a small quad, and apply a scatter tool with random z rotation.
No we use the particle system. No idea who came up with that method you posted but yeah we don't do anything like that.
