    Last time we used the fast one, which is very grippy from the beginning. How about starting with green or dusty?

    Code:
    [DUSTY]
    SESSION_START=83
    SESSION_TRANSFER=50
    RANDOMNESS=1
    LAP_GAIN=18
    DESCRIPTION=A very slippery track, improves fast with more laps.

    [OLD]
    SESSION_START=86
    SESSION_TRANSFER=80
    RANDOMNESS=3
    LAP_GAIN=50
    DESCRIPTION=Old tarmac. Bad grip won't get better soon.

    [SLOW]
    SESSION_START=94
    SESSION_TRANSFER=80
    RANDOMNESS=1
    LAP_GAIN=60
    DESCRIPTION=A slow track that doesn't improve much.

    [GREEN]
    SESSION_START=92
    SESSION_TRANSFER=90
    RANDOMNESS=2
    LAP_GAIN=10
    DESCRIPTION=A clean track, gets better with more laps.

    [FAST]
    SESSION_START=97
    SESSION_TRANSFER=80
    RANDOMNESS=2
    LAP_GAIN=20
    DESCRIPTION=Very grippy track right from the start.

    [OPTIMUM]
    SESSION_START=100
    SESSION_TRANSFER=100
    RANDOMNESS=0
    LAP_GAIN=1
    DESCRIPTION=Perfect track for hotlapping.

    Dusty I don't really see the purpose, it'd just be the same.. but slower.
    Green ? Meh, but I could go with it, supposing the majority wishes so :). It just seems to take some "magic" away when I see that there are 2-3 parameters to play with. It's like it's becoming artificial somehow, even though it is supposed to make it more realistic. Hope my ramblings make (some) sense :D.

    Let's hear ppl speak :)

    I think it's doable, especially since the number of drivers is quite low so the chances of crashes go down. I don't actually think of any reason not to do it, and having the surface improving gradually helps "tame" the drivers until we all settle at the race pace.

    If it's realism we try to achieve, isn't it possible to have a random type of tarmac from a given set? Say from SLOW, GREEN and FAST. I think you agree with me that we're not hotlapping, we're just trying to have fun and different conditions on different race days are part of racing IRL.

    I know it wouldn't make a great impact in this first season because of its low attendance, but it could be an exercise for future ones when races will hopefully have a crescendo tempo. Or you know, just have everyone crash in the first corner. :D

    Didn't even look at it with that perspective @ihlades, but you are right. When drivers don't know what's coming up or exactly how this are going to be, they tend to take less risks.

    Except inexperienced drivers which on the contrary provoke crashes, but I think it's not the case here.
