Shy one, but it's mine . And as all simracers know, it's a never ending work-in-progress Metal frame for the cockpit (seat + wheel) and a DIY wooden desk to independently support monitors and use a a work place when not simracing. Because the base of the T500 is SO huge, had to actually cut the board and place it close to the screens. If anyone needs it, I've designed sort of a top view plan (contour) of the base when planning the cut. On the right side I have a sliding board, which supports mouse, tablet, etc. The wheel is fixed to the T500 base with a temporary solution DIY, waiting for final decision quick-release or not system.
Finally! Looks good. Do you have any more pics of the frame? Love the wheel, where did you get that from?
Don't have on the moment but promise™ I'll post a few more of the frame. I got the wheel on oreca-store.com. It's not as beautiful as your GT one but it's good enough . Basically, I wanted an alcatara wheel.
aah snap. I thought (had hoped ) that is was a very nice knock off. Well I will have to get a Sparco 310 wheel then still
What do you mean ? It's decent quality at touch. And I especially didn't wanted to go higher diameter than original (300 mm). Otherwise I see the Sparco on the oreca store as well.
I need to take one day to accomodate the cockpit in my small play room, I like your config luchian great stuff. I recently broke my stering wheel as you know, so I need to but another one... firts I try to find something on second hand on good shape, if not I think I will buy a G27 to recycle the old G25 accesories. I will post my cockpit one of these days.
And here are 2 with the cockpit frame The wheel support is adjustable in height and forward/backward (within some limits)
Some more DIY work done today. Quite happy with the results Next (..when the time will come) is a button plate and a quick release for the wheel.
Nice setup, haven't been able to expand to 3 screens. I'm thinking on making myself a decent rig so my desk gets freed. Oh by the way I was checking out the forums and its missing a racing wheel config share, so people can share their settings on different wheel brands. This'd be nice to have.
