luchian submitted a new resource: Paul Ricard Castellet - An awesome work-in-progress, by Tony Messagers AC member tony.messagers started this back in july, and continued work as his time allowed it. Even though today the public version is "only" 0.4.1, the track really show its quality and will definitely be one of the "must have" in Assetto Corsa. Scratch that. It already IS. It's that good. Release Notes: It's with pleasure that I present you the Paul Ricard HTTT track in progress v 0.4.1. This track is made with the real height datas and tracing. The modeling is on Maya, based on IGN datas and satellite datas. The track is configurated on solution 1C-V2 - 5.842 Km, The Circuit offers 167 different track configurations. I never understood how could the elevation be so off between T5 and T6 when the author extremely clearly used proper elevation data. (I know it's off in Google Earth - I know from when I modelled the circuit for GP4 - but I assume luchien worked with better data than I did back in the day.)
Yeah. There's an ACC conversion coming to AC in a few days' time, will be interesting to see how that will work out.
Well, according to testers the road mesh is good. (And since it's a conversion, we know the layout and the elevation will be accurate.) Guy's name is javire, he has a discord, and it's looking good. Release day is probably Tue/Wed next week. I'm pretty pumped - he started working on it last December!
