NEWS Everything has been said !
..and more ! A big announcement today on AC's fb page, with cool information about what the near (and not so near) future will bring to Assetto Corsa. A special mention goes to AC member the_meco, proving once more that outstanding work does not go unnoticed and "unpunished" .
"Dear Assetto Corsa fans
We know that in the last few weeks we have been very silent, but there was a valid reason; all our resources and everybody in the dev team have been working real hard in order to finish Assetto Corsa and to prepare a preview Release Candidate... -
NEWS Assetto Corsa Press(ing) Day !
Yesterday (or Sep 29th, depending on your time zone) Kunos organized a press event, to give their "precious" a proper launch. It was organized directly within Autodromo di Vallelunga (where their HQ also is) and since they were at a racetrack.. there had to be cars. And not just "any": almost the entire lineup of cars present in the game was brought at Vallelunga "in flesh". Or so it seems from the pictures that we've been able to spot on the net .
Will leave you with an approximate translation of the coverage provided by... -
NEWS What is going on behind the scenes ?
A parallel world is getting ready to be launched at Kunos ? It would seem like almost every aspect of the game has been touched in the intention of pushing the sim a 'bit more towards its limits. Bring it ON, I say !

[CONCEPT] Club Racing
As the server is on 24/7, why not put it to good use ?
CONCEPT:
Club type races, not a part of the official season's calendar (if one in progress). Every week, 2 races will be held, with the same combo, this way everybody can have a shot of making it to the race.
Registrations:
Club races mean no specific registration is required. You can however let others know you plan to participate - more drivers attract even more drivers .
UPDATE: You can reserve a car for a specific event. Your spot will be guaranteed and... -
Organisation and Decisions
The current planned date for the first race is beginning of October, hopefully all the important decisions will be clarified until then. Some of the main topics, are or will be opened for discussion shortly. But if anything you are interested in is not covered, feel free to ask, or even create a specific thread (in case you need feedback from other racers). -
AC Update Assetto Corsa Release 0.22 On Steam Early Access
As promised, Kunos "delivered" on 29th. A new verion which comes with a new car, a new track and some very consistent improvement and optimizations. Still a lot of things going behind the scenes, but as with every release, we are getting closer and closer to 1.0 version. Current milestone is set to a "candidate beta version" within some weeks. As we all know, terms like some, soon, couple of weeks, must be taken with a bit of salt when it comes to simracing or game developement in general . And yes of course, we all hope to be proven wrong when... -

No ? Ok, this ?
Still no ? Ok, I'll put it in context a little bit
Exactly !
Don't know about you guys, but for me, street/real cars.. I will not go out of the house again !
Here's the official press release:... -
NEWS The Long Week Ahead :)
Last few days (one might add in sync with the real racing calendar) Kunos played again with its fans (us), sharing some really great shots of the presumably work-in-progress Spa Francochamps circuit. It's gonna be a long week until Friday, as nobody yet knows what the build on 29th brings:
- improved graphics ?
- the long-awaited Spa ?
- other goodies ?
Whatever it brings (or not) I am nothing less than admirative to the energy this small studio is spreading.
Here are the said screens

NEWS A Partnership That We'll Feel
We usually hear about all kinds of partnerships between different companies along a project. And usually they will be financially oriented. This time however, we'll hopefully get to "feel" the benefits of the latest collaboration announced. That's because, aside from the material RSR Nurburg will be probably providing, they also have a great deal of experience with the said cars and the feedback they can give about the behavior in real life could really push Assetto Corsa towards that last drop of authenticity. Time will tell.

We are pleased to... -
NEWS Back To Origins !

"Dear AC followers,
With Assetto Corsa’s debut on Steam Early Access, we almost stopped sharing some of our WIP images from production (except for those which were close to released, oh, and of course the awesome pics created by our AC fans).
Now, with 30,000 genuine followers on Facebook, we have decided to reward you... -
NEWS Pack Of 6 Cobras Skinned Alive, By Nwrap
New member @NWRAP shared a great pack of skins for the @the_meco's Shelby Cobra. Check them skins out in the AC Skins category. What I love is that every skin has a story behind and they all come from "that" era . There's
A 1963 Canadian GP Shelby Cobra as driven by Ken Miles
Then a 1973 Shelby Cobra 427 as driven by Sam Feinstein
A 1965 Essex Wires Shelby Cobra Replica
A skin "based on the car from Spinout... -
NEWS Assetto Corsa release 0.21 on Steam Early Access
On Friday, 18th, Kunos released a new update (and a few minor ones in the following hours) after skipping the update on July 4th according to the usual 2-weeks schedule. However, it was well worth the wait because this update come with some major features, a new awesome car - the legendary Classic Team Lotus Type 98T, and most importantly prepares the platform for some consistent improvements in the future, towards the 1.0 release. One more noticeable fact would also be that Kunos team is growing, and this can only mean one thing for us: more goodies... -
BLOG Kunos is human !
Within a time frame of 4 days the Kunos team teased us with quite a few awesome status updates/news. It all started on Friday when against a not so friendly weather, they gave us a glimpse of the preparation fever before "the" journey ! Some driving hours later, they are safe and sound arrived at location but actual work would start the next day. And why not start a good day of work with a "spoiler".. say like.. a Toyota GT86 ! Now let's add track data, car data, videos/photos, the meeting with the RUF team.. things sound and look really productive for them, and really awesome for... -
NEWS Assetto Corsa (big) News
This has just been posted by Kunos, on their blog. Those that follow closely the development had an idea about it, but nobody new exactly what was going on. An awesome surprise nevertheless, and this will definitely give a new push to the sim. Here's the complete article:

TUTORIAL Build your FIRST track - BASIC GUIDE
LAST UPDATE : Dec 2021
***
I’ll try and explain in few steps what is needed in order to export your first track in AC. However, this is not intended to be an extensive tutorial; it’s only a listing of minimum requirements for your first drivable track. And should be simpler than it looks
General advices:
- According to the size of your project, building a track might take from an hour to a few months . It's up to you to set the limits. I will not say that it might be taking years, cause if it would.. you probably don't need this guide
- It would be a good idea to... -
TUTORIAL Assetto Corsa Official Editor - Tutorial Video #1
Exciting news !
Kunos team, represented in this case by the KS lead 3d artist Simone Trevisiol, just released a first video presenting the basic functionality of their inhouse editor/exporter, the tool that will allow you/me/us modders to export own 3d creations. It seems that in the beginning, only track exporting options will be available, although for cars the same editor will be used a little bit later down the road. The main reason (and it makes sense) is that Kunos team wishes to also release a proper documentation when enabling car export, as cars require more that some 3d... -
RELEASED-wip "Parking Interview" Experience [wip]
Hello racers & drifters & cruisers & spectators,
With some considerable delay from initial planned date, here is the first public version of my still work-in-progress parking. As you know the original idea was to offer the possibility to recreate the parking interview from Driver game, but meanwhile the idea evolved (way) beyond that. However, there is still work to do, so in this first release only the Level 1 of the parking is available + the ramp towards Level 2, to get a taste of it
Also worth mentioning that initial plan was to release only the finished version; but... -

BLOG Assetto Corsa - A new journey !
I was reading about Assetto Corsa quite some time before it was launched, and didn’t really know what to think.. I am an LFS’er from 2004 or so, and even though I have enjoyed the “usual suspects” (rF, GTR, GTR2, Race07, …) I never could really get into other sim than LFS. It was the only one that seemed credible enough for my brain.. the only one where the cars were (almost always) really doing what I would expect’em to do..
..and then came Tech Preview, February 2013, and I was sold.
It only took me a few minutes in the Lotus Elise @Magione, to realize...
