Hi, I've been trying out car modding, but ksEditor crashes every time I try to import my FBX file exported from 3dsMax. The error it gives is "ERROR, OBJECT: CAR_BODY HAS NO MATERIAL ATTACHED". I thought that the materials were supposed to be assigned in ksEditor.. I've also tried importing other things to troubleshoot: -Cube exported from 3DSmax: Same error -Cube exported from blender: no errors -Car model exported from blender: Same error, but instead applied to one of my dummies I have no idea what to do at this point.
The ksEditor only defines the shader (aka the way a material will look in AC). But you must assign material (and ideally make UV mapping) in the 3d software you using. ALL objects must have a material, otherwise Editor will throw that error. - on Tapatalk
