Assetto Corsa Mods
With the release date closing in, the team over at Kunos, released another cool trailer to showcase the console version of Assetto Corsa. We say console version, but other than the fact of running on consoles, there is nothing less about it, compared to the PC version. However, we all know (and interact) on the Internet, so you might be aware of 2 general concerns:
1/ that the game's strong point - the physics simulation - will be toned down in the console version
2/ once that is done, the PC version will follow also, in order to make the game more appealing to the casual racers.
So Marco choose to make a(nother) declaration about it, trying to clarify things for those willing to listen. Here's how it sounded....
A very nice pack of skins prepared by member @Jebus, specially for the upcoming track Ascari.

2 of them, to be precise. We refer of course, to the same period of time: end of April to present day. It started with probably the most requested DLC in Assetto Corsa: The Japanese Pack. 7 Japanese car icons, with very different personalities, in both classic and modern flavor.
The Japanese Pack was released on May 18th, and for 4.99EUR one got:
Mazda MX-5 2016 and MX-5 CUP
The Mazda MX-5 Miata is famous to be a highly capable racing platform; it is known as the best-selling roadster in the world, and some even claim that this model is the most road-raced car world-wide....
It's been a long time since we had some writing here.. about 3 months on the calendar. To give this a positive turn, it goes to show the speed at which AC is evolving. At that time we were speaking about AC update 1.5, which wasn't even out yet. Now we are already at 1.7.5 and we are counting days until 1.8 release, in a couple of weeks.
Every increment of AC updates, brings a nice package of features and improvements. Some might argue these are things that should've been there in the first place, but still.. it's good to see the energy around this project.
